History:
Expotur has consolidated as the event of greatest trajectory and positioning in the region, thus in the 2010, celebrated its edition number 26 which means a matchless experience and past.

Innovation:
EXPOTUR organization has the commitment to offer changes and innovations that make of the event an effective and efficient activity for their participants. It tries to facilitate the processes of registration, payments and knowledge of the processes of the event. In addition, every year, it emphases the novel attractions and services that complement those that are already positioned.

Supply and demand:
The tourist supply of Costa Rica has the platform to exhibit itself as in a display like no other national or international event. For some companies it is the only opportunity to promote themselves and be known at an international level. This applies mainly for micro and small companies which in EXPOTUR represent 80% of the participants. Also, for two days, the possibility of negotiating with at least 200 international buyers on a personal basis is open. For this, Acoprot programs promotional trips to invite representatives of companies interested in our destination from three continents.

We are aware of the big advantages that the present technology offers. Thus, the new design of our Web site has been improved with new tools that facilitate marketing and sales for those companies duly registered.

The variety of products and services available in our country, as well as the new attractions offered every year make it necessary the promotion of the segments that characterize us. In the same way, the products and services distinctive of a given region are promoted. This facilitates to the buyer not only the knowledge of the attractions but it allows them to identify the areas of his interest.

Media coverage:
Important international mass media are invited by the Costa Rica Tourist Board ICT and their Public Relations agency. This offers the opportunity of ample coverage for the event and the participating companies. Similarly the presence of national press favors the spreading of the attractions and services available in the country.

NATIONAL EXPOTUR:
EXPOTUR offers, in addition, an excellent opportunity to exhibit and sell packages and special offers during the two days that the event is open to the public.
