EXPOTUR´s 26 years of history have positioned the event as the most important tourist commercialization mart in the region and one of the best of the continent, which creates much interest for the press.
International media such as National Geographic, Conde Nast Traveler, Recommend Magazine, Travel World News, the Miami Herald, Travel Weekly and Canadian Traveler, among many others, have given ample coverage not only to Expotur, but also to Costa Rica´s attractions, products and services. The Costa Rica Tourist Board and its Public Relations Agency, Burson Marsteller, extend a special invitation to the media.
Equally, journalists of more than 50 national mass media give coverage to all the activities included in the program. This allows an ample spreading of what occurs in this important activity for the country but also Costa Ricans are informed on the variety and quantity of attractions and services available in Costa Rica.
